Relief From COVID Fatigue

The lights of the slot machines still scintillate, the sounds still ring, dings and jingles still reverberate throughout the casino floor. The staff is still there to take care of the guests.

COVID has not stopped the Wynn in Las Vegas from catering to their guests. They are open and operating with all the proper COVID prevention protocols. Every visitors temperature is taken via scanner as they enter the resort. There are dividers separating the players on all the tables. Everyone is wearing masks and they are limiting tables to a maximum of six people. Even the spa is open!

I must give extra KUDDOs to the staff. They are enduring the discomfort of wearing masks all day. This can not be good for the skin and I hope they are offering facial treatments for their dedicated workers.

I love to linger in the spas I visit. Saunas and whirlpools and relaxation rooms are some of my favorite things. It was disappointing to not be allowed into the sauna and whirlpool, the spa at the Wynn was still worth my while. It is beautiful with long halls of ambient lighting and soothing music throughout. Not disappointing though was the treatment I received. My masseuse was professional in every way.

She gave the perfect custom massage. Once she scanned my body for it's needs, she placed a warming blanket over my back to loosen the muscles and started with the legs, an obvious departure from the traditional method. I received a fabulous massage that was intense enough to work what needed to be worked and easy enough to be enjoyed. On my rating scale of 1 - 5, she gets a 5!

COVID fatigue is settling in and there is a vaccine coming (hopefully soon!)Until then, you can enjoy a quick, safe trip to Vegas. Fly Southwest and stay at the Wynn.
